Ingredients:
- 3-4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup dry oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place sliced apples in a medium sized bowl..Add lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and baking powder. Stir until apples are evenly coated. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- In the same bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Cut butter into flour mixture.
- Crumble the mixture over the apples evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until topping is bubbling.
- Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
