Japanese Chicken


Preparation time: 20 minutes
Total time: 1 hour
Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs                                   
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup flour                                           
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. sesame seeds       
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 8 chicken breasts                             
  • 4 cups sugar

Directions:

  1. Whip eggs in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine flour and sesame seeds. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then roll evenly and heavily in the flour mixture.
  2. Arrange chicken breasts in a greased 9x13-inch pan.
  3. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, water and sugar; pour over chicken breasts.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Serve with rice.
