Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup applesauce
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 small pkg. instant lemon pudding mix
Directions:
- Mix together cake mix, eggs, sour cream, apple sauce, water and pudding mix. Do not over beat.
- Pour into buttered and lightly floured Bundt pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes or until fork comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Dust with powdered sugar, or frost.
Lemon Frosting
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
Yield: 4 cups
Ingredients:
- Lemon instant pudding mix
- 2 cups cool whip
Directions:
- Make lemon pudding mix according to instructions on box.
- Let cool.
- Add 2 cups cool whip and mix well.
- Spread over lemon cake.
