Yield: 2 sheet tray pizzas
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 3 ½ cups flour
- Pinch of sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 ¼ cup warm water
- ¾ cup olive oil
Toppings:
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
Optional toppings:
- mushrooms
- peppers
- sausage
- pepperoni
- herbs
- tomato, etc.
Directions:
- Sprinkle yeast over warm water, add pinch of sugar. Stir together. Add oil. Mix in flour and knead together until dough is mixed.
- Put dough in bowl and cover with towel. Let rise until doubles in bulk, about 1 hour. Roll out on pizza pan.
- Top each crust with pizza sauce, thinly, and add mozzarella cheese. Add desired toppings. Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
