Chilean Empanadas



Preparation time: 15 minutes
Bake time: 15 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
Yield: 8 empanadas

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 1/4-1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 small jar Green Spanish olives, cut small
  • Pillsbury biscuit dough
  • Egg yolk
Directions:
  1. Brown hamburger with onion.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin and green Spanish olives cut. 
  3. Fill in Pillsbury biscuit dough: Flatten out circle and fill with about 1-2 T hamburger mix. Pinch edges and then fork them to seal.
  4. Brush with egg yolk. 
  5. Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
