Caramel Popcorn


Preparation time: 15 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes
Yield: 12 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup Karo light syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1- 14 oz. can condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 12 cups popped popcorn

Directions:

  1. In a large sauce pan over medium heat, bring the brown sugar and Karo syrup to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. 
  2. Let set up for 1 minute then add butter, condensed milk, and vanilla. Stir until smooth, a few minutes. 
  3. Pour the caramel over the popped popcorn and stir until all the corn is coated.
  4. Best served fresh.
