Total time: 55 minutes
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
- 12 oz. fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Crisp:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the 1 Tbsp. of softened butter on the bottom of a 9x9" baking dish (a deep pie dish will also work).
- Combine the blueberries, sugar, flour and cinnamon in a large bowl. Pour the berry mixture into the prepared pan.
- In the same bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar and salt. Add the melted butter and use your fingers to mix the mixture so that it resembles coarse sand. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the berries. Sprinkle the 1 Tbsp. of sugar over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the filling is bubbling and the crisp topping is browned.
