Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup of walnuts, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease your bread pan and set aside.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Stir in the eggs, then the bananas. Finally, stir in the walnuts until evenly incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, add the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until uniform. Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour or until a fork comes out clean.
- Remove the bread from the pan and cool on a rack. Allow it to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container.
