Teriyaki Chicken


Preparation time: 5 minutes + marinating
Cook time: 45 minutes
Total time: 50 minutes + marinating
Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • Steamed rice, for serving
  • Vegetables, for serving (i.e. mushrooms, zucchini, bell pepper)

Directions:
  1. Combine the sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bag. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least two hours.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.  Bake the chicken in a baking dish for 40-45 minutes, or an hour if the chicken is frozen.
  3. Serve the chicken over steamed rice with your favorite sauteed vegetables.
