Chicken Avocado Sliders

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients:
  • 1 12-count package of Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1/2 cup chipotle ranch
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 7.5 oz. deli sliced chicken
  • 1/2 large avocado, smashed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter melted

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the rolls lengthwise so you have two big pieces.
  3. Spread ¼ chipotle ranch on each side of the rolls. Place the bottom roll in a pan and spread the smashed avocado.  Top with half of the chicken, cheese, and the rest of the chicken. Place the other half of the rolls on top.
  4. Brush the butter on the rolls.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm.
Notes:
  • If you would like your rolls to be soft, cover them with aluminum foil for the first 10 minutes of baking and then uncover and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • To personalize your sliders you can use other deli meats instead of or in addition to the chicken (i.e. turkey, ham, roast beef).  You can also use other kinds of cheese (i.e. pepper jack, cheddar, provolone, etc.), sauce (i.e. mustard, mayo), and add whatever veggies you want!
  • To make this recipe ahead of time, assemble the sliders as instructed, wrap them in layers of plastic wrap, and freeze them for up to 2 months. To bake, unwrap them and place them on a baking sheet. Brush with butter and bake at 350ºF for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
