The Best Banana Bread

Bake time: 45 minutes
Total time: 1 hour
Yield: 1 large 9x5" loaf

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon
  • 3 bananas, blended

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease the bread pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
  3. Combine flour soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add to the wet ingredients and stir in the blended bananas.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, or until a fork comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before removing.
  5. Cool completely before storing.
